OLYMPUS BF-1TH190 EVIS EXERA III Bronchoscope
OLYMPUS BF-1TH190 EVIS EXERA III Bronchoscope
- Rotary Function: Insertion tube rotation of up to 120° left and right effectively reduces hand torque by 82% when compared to previous generation Olympus bronchoscopes and supports easier insertion and positioning of endoscopic devices.
- HDTV: The brighter, crystal clear images delivered by true HDTV enable more detailed observation of bronchial surfaces during bronchoscopy.
- Electronic Magnification: Close-up observation of bronchial surfaces is readily available with 1.2 x and 1.5 x electronic magnification.

A bronchoscope for therapeutic intervention with high definition imaging performance. The powerful BF-1TH190 in Olympus’ latest video platform EVIS EXERA III not only offers HDTV in white light observation but also HDTV in a dramatically improved NBI mode. The powerful video chip on the scope’s distal tip measures just 6.2 mm with an insertion tube diameter of 6.0 mm. The working channel of 2.8 mm allows a broad range of EndoTherapy procedures to be used. Advancing manoeuverability through Olympus’ unique insertion tube rotation function enables precise targeting during biopsies or a repositioning of the endoscope handle for a more comfortable position.
All 190 series bronchoscopes are equipped with the waterproof One-touch connector: The connector improves endoscopy procedures as the scope can be connected to the system with a single touch.
The BF-1TH190 video bronchoscope provides superb HD images; the images are larger with more details noted, hence, making it easier to observe images for effective therapeutic bronchoscopy. The NBI capability has been dramatically improved: In NBI mode it is now possible to view twice the visible distance than before due to the improved performance of the system components. NBI now becomes an effective observation mode for defining changes in the vascular structure of the mucosa.
The working channel accommodates a wide range of instruments while maintaining good suction capacity. The rotatable insertion tube maximizes scope maneuverability and targeting of EndoTherapy devices during therapeutic interventions and offers additional degree of freedom for the physician to adjust to a more comfortable body position.
The waterproof one-touch connector improves endoscopy suite management as the scope can be connected to the system in a single movement.
