Tattoos and pigment are comprised of multiple colors which require multiple wavelengths to effectively remove. enlighten features three fully-integrated laser wavelengths – 532 nm, 1064 nm, and 670 nm – selectively chosen based on their absorption to certain ink and pigment colors. The 670 nm wavelength – unique to Cutera – is the first true-red wavelength in the picosecond Domain. 670 nm was chosen based on its ability to remove difficult-to-treat blue and green tattoo inks, and address congenital or resistant pigmentation conditions on challenging skin types.
